Ed Hosking was born in Cornwall in 1968 and is a multi-discilplinary artist. He trained at Falmouth School of Art, and during his painting career exhibited work for many years at the Picture House. In more recent years his love of design has led him into engineering, specialising in 3D CAD design. 

Ed's painting style is in contrast to his precise CAD draftsmanship, and often described as lively, free and expressive. With his use of rich and vibrant colour Ed explores a varied range of subject matter, capturing life and landscape in and around Cornwall. As well as capturing Cornish life on the beach, in harbours and towns, Ed has also created a large collection of figurative work. 

In more recent years he has gone on to achieve extensive qualifications in Engineering and CAD design, and continues to work in Cornwall as a freelance designer/artist and teacher.
