JULIAN CHRISTOPHERS  is a native of Cornwall and has spent his life painting. Self taught, and professionally painting since 1983, he has developed a unique and colourful approach towards his themes that range from studies of families through still life to landscapes.

 

With inspiration drawn from local life, Julian works with oils and acrylic, painting on whatever comes to hand - canvas, card, even door panels! Using his trademark kaleidoscope colour palette, the results are a vibrant visual journey, weaving you in and around the streets and harbours of Cornwall.     

  

Julian has exhibited with The Picture House for years now and his work is regularly shown in Cornwall, both in mixed and solo exhibitions.
